How to install and run the application?
1. Download and install the plugin on your computer.
2. Open AutoCAD, and in the command line, type Mylibrary to launch the application.
The Wood Hinged Single Door drawing and cad block is an autolisp that automates the draft of the doors, adds door tags, door tables and streamline quantity takeoff. Specifications
Use well-seasoned, kiln-dried timber with 8% to 12% moisture for woodwork to minimize warping, shrinking, and swelling. Ensure the wood is free from defects like large or loose knots, shakes, saps, wane edges, and twisted fibers. Additionally, the timber should be free from diseases such as decay, wet rot, dry rot, and woodworms.
The panel includes three horizontal studs at a minimum. Two plywood panels cover the front and back of the panel. The door frame typically consists of the jamb (4.5 to 5 cm thick) and a sub-frame (minimum 2 cm thick) with architrave all around the frame.
Follow the American National Standards Institute (ANSI) guidelines for hinge specifications. Manufacturers must indicate the Grade level of their hinges. Grade 1 (Heavy Duty) hinges must meet all Grade 1 criteria, Grade 2 (Standard Weight) hinges must meet all Grade 2 criteria, Grade 3 (Standard Weight) hinges must meet all Grade 3 criteria, and Grade 4 (Light Weight) hinges must meet all Grade 4 criteria. Installation
Install hinges on the side of a door panel. Each hinge has two leaves meeting at a center pivot point. One leaf attaches to the door frame and the other to the door. The number of hinges required for each door height is as follows:
- Door Height: 150 cm / 60” or less – Number of Hinges: 2
- Door Height: 155 cm – 200 cm / 61” – 80” – Number of Hinges: 3
- Door Height: 205 cm – 240 cm / 81” – 97” – Number of Hinges: 4
- Door Height: 250 cm – 276 cm / 98” – 109” – Number of Hinges: 5
- Door Height: 276 cm / 109” or more – Number of Hinges: 6
